This Quaife ATB (auto torque biasing) diff is designed to maximise traction using a unique gear system. This is instead of a clutch and plate ramps diff which has a tendency to lock up quite harshly. This gear system set-up automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel and across the drive shafts in a much more controlled way, meaning no snatchy steering or unwanted torque steer.
The diff is a direct replacement for the original item but the crown wheel has to be removed from the original unit and machined to fit the Quaife.
This differential cannot be fitted in our workshop due to the machining process at this time.
