As part of Airtec’s expanding Renault Sport product range, Airtec Motorsport is proud to launch thier uprated top engine mount upgrade suitable for track or fast road use.
This is designed to directly replace the original upper engine mount that is made from cast aluminium with a soft rubber bush insert. The Airtec Motorsport heavy duty replacement is machined from billet alloy and comes in a high-quality, anodised black finish with engraved logo.
Accompanying the mount is a much stiffer polyurethane bush insert that radically reduces engine movement. As a result, throttle response is improved, wheel hop is reduced and gear changes feel more instant as excessive slack is removed from the drivetrain.
The mount uses the original bolts and comes complete with fitting instructions.
It is ideally matched with the Airtec direct replacement lower gearbox mount also listed on our website.
These mounts will increase noise and vibration in the car as they use a stiffer compound than the standard Renault rubber.
