Suitable for all Megane 2RS 225, 230, R26 and R26R models and Clio 197 and 200 including Cup and Gordini, this performance brake disc kit has been designed to work with the original Brembo 4
pot calipers as these are well up to the job of stopping the car given
the right discs, pads, braided lines and brake fluid to work.
The kit uses-
PFC V3 330mm disc kit
PFC Z Rated brake pads
PFC Racing brake fluid (x3 bottles)
KTR braided lines (Ph1 or Ph2 Megane 2RS fitment to be specified in the drop down menu for braided line to rear caliper fitment)
Performance Friction V3 slotted 330mm rotors which are made from high carbon alloy with copper and molbdenum for high
temperature strength, they are then heat treated for micro structure
alignment and durability. They are then tested for run out to a tolerance of less than .0005 inches. The rotors also feature handed
vanes to reduce thermal warping and vibration. The rotors are then fitted to the car using the Performance Friction
V3 fully floating mounting system. For road use this uses Belleville
washers under the retaining ring to give all the benefits of a fully
floating rotor but without the rattling associated with this type of set
up, this keeps the brakes nice and quiet for road use. Those wanting to
use the discs for a full race application can simply remove the
washers. The special alloy bell design prevents heat transfer through to
the wheel hubs and also means that once the discs need replacing it is
only the rotors that need to be changed, not the complete assembly.
The Performance Friction Z Rated brake pads .10 compound has been designed for fast road / track day applications.
It gives more stopping power and increase fade resistance over the OE
materials but retains the good qualities of the road pad, i.e low
dusting and noise along with low wear rate.
High Performance compound, gained through competition pad developments
Compound designed for low dusting qualities
Several built in noise suppression technologies
Excellent disc conditioning, giving even transfer layer on disc to reduce uneven pad deposits
